Nutrition services.

Emily Burch Fearon is an Accredited Dietitian and Nutritionist currently residing in Federal, New South Wales, Australia. In 2016 she received a Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics with First Class Honours and is currently undertaking her PhD in the field of nutritional science.

Emily takes a holistic, evidence-based approach towards nutrition and is passionate about the nutrition services she provides. Emily has a “diet first” philosophy which is based around addressing the relevant health concerns of her clients using dietary means first, and then providing a supportive nutritional supplementation protocol if necessary. She aims to educate her clients on the physiological background of their issue so that they can better understand their own body and feel empowered to make sustained dietary changes!

Emily is available for consultations focused on a broad range of nutritional areas, however she specialises in the following:

– Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (including Crohn’s disease and Colitis).
– Chronic gastrointestinal issues (chronic bloating/constipation/diarrhea).
– Food intolerances.
– Type 2 Diabetes (Emily is currently undertaking her PhD on the topic of T2DM).
– Cardiovascular disease.
– Pre-natal nutrition (including correct supplementation for those on a vegan or vegetarian diet).
– Coeliac disease.
– Nutritionally adequate plant-based diets (vegan and vegetarian).
– Nutritional deficiencies (ie. Anemia).
